NoteBPM can use the following measurement units.

1. Time (milliseconds)

The lengths of a musical notes are displayed in milliseconds. Starting with a time value that matches a piece of music's tempo is very useful when tweaking effects like reverb pre-delay or compressor release time.

2. Frequency (hertz)

The number of oscillations in the sound wave during the length of musical notes are displayed in hertz. This can be used as a handy reference when using the oscillator of a modular synthesizers or another device as an LFO.

3. Number of Samples (44100 Hz / 48000 Hz / 96000 Hz)

Choose from among three sampling frequencies and the length of music notes are displayed in number of samples. Very useful for precise waveform editing.
